Guidelines:
The IEC Foundation recognizes the March 2025 Firestorm left devastation behind, and many IEC members are struggling to meet day-to-day needs after losing everything. Because of this, the IEC Foundation's volunteer Board of Directors has established a $20,000 fund to offer vouchers to fire victims as they begin replacing essential care items, food or other necessities.
1. Funds will be given to IEC members who experienced home loss during the March 2025 Firestorm until funds are exhausted.
2. One (1) voucher per IEC membership account/address.
3. An official application must be filled out either online or a paper copy obtained at the co-op and returned. Verification can take up to two business days. You will receive an email or phone call when processing is complete.
4. Vouchers awarded must be picked up in person at IEC's headquarters in Cleveland during business hours before April 23, 2025. An opportunity to pick up vouchers also will be held on Saturday, April 12 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the IEC Cleveland office.
5. The IEC member must be the applicant on the application and must be the person who picks up the voucher in person, shows photo identification and signs for receipt of the voucher.
6. Deadline to apply is April 21, 2025.
Operation Round Up® is funded by IEC members who volunteer to round up their electric bills monthly to the next whole dollar. Since 1993, IEC Foundation has distributed more than a half-million dollars in Operation Round Up® funds to community causes in the service area.
Additionally, the cooperative’s board of directors has approved special utility relief for those who have been displaced by residential loss due to the firestorm. Please contact us at 918-295-9500 to discuss your account and ways our MSRs can assist you in your time of hardship.
